The festival of modern crop production, where innovation meets real-world farming on open fields. In front of an audience of growers, experts, and industry leaders, the most promising ideas will be selected live on stage. Desafía AgTech Germany 2026 Event Series
In 2026, we once again hosted high-potential Spanish startups as part of the Desafía AgTech Germany Program, connecting international innovation with the German AgriFood ecosystem through a series of strategic events:

Taste of Spanish Innovation (Frankfurt am Main): An exclusive side event at the Growth Alliance Networking Summit, where ecosystem players connected with Spanish founders in a relaxed breakfast setting to exchange ideas before the main summit.

Community-Investors Breakfast (MotionLab.Berlin): A deep dive into Berlin’s startup scene featuring curated pitches and strategic impulses for investors and ecosystem partners.

Demo Day (Hannover): Startups took the stage to pitch their solutions to a high-profile audience. The day featured expert keynotes and panel discussions, strengthening the ties between Spanish innovators and the AgTech hub of Lower Saxony.

With just one slide and 120 seconds, 42 startups presented their solutions to an audience of industry leaders, investors, and adopters, who chose their winner. The top startups walked away with €5,000 in prize money, thanks to Rentenbank and DLG.

RootCamp is partnering with EuroTier, a leading livestock farming trade fair, to highlight innovative startups. EuroTier 2024, co-organized with EnergyDecentral and Inhouse Farming, will create a large ecosystem for innovation. RootCam hosted the RapidFire Startup Pitches. Discover the startups here.
